We have expanded our machinery with a new vertical machining centre DMC 1150. This machine represents the third generation of this type of vertical machining centres. Therefore, we are able to work with heavier and larger metal components. But that is not all.
The spindle speed reaches 14,000 revolutions per minute and the solid table is capable of supporting an impressive maximum load of 1,500 kilograms. Efficient production ensures a quick feed system (36 m.min-1) available for all axes. A new feature for this type of machine is the drive and guide cooling system. Ball guiding nuts and the linear guiding system are cooled with attached ledges which ensure efficient heat dissipation. Feed guides dimensions are 1,150 x 500 x 500 mm. In particular, 500 mm along the Y axis significantly expands the range of these vertical centres.
The machine is equipped with a Sinumerik 840D control system, with Renishaw tooling and tool probe and a tooling magazine for 32 different types of tools. The machine may be used to work on products made of cast-iron, steel and aluminium alloys.
